Project description:
Local Economy Solutions undertook an evaluation of the DWP Local Pension Service within seven UK regions. The objective of the evaluation was to identify the effectiveness of the new Local Service arrangements from a national perspective.
This involved examining a number of different issues relating to new Local Service arrangements including:

To determine the extent to which current local pensions advice services engage the most vulnerable pensioners

To establish the most effective balance of different service delivery methods to achieve service targets

To examine pensioner views and reasons for using the service

To review different approaches to service delivery and make recommendations on best practice.

Determine the effectiveness of different partner working relationships in practice (For example, in relation to the range of services provided, or organisations supported)
